Itinerary for Murchison Falls Tour from Gulu City with Grime Safaris

Day 1: Departure from Gulu City

  • 07:00 AM: Departure from Gulu City
  • 09:30 AM: Arrival at Murchison Falls National Park
  • 10:00 AM: Check-in and briefing by Grime Safaris guide about the park

Top of the Falls View

  • 10:30 AM: Drive to the Top of Murchison Falls
  • 11:50 AM: Enjoy the spectacular view of the falls and capture stunning photos
  • 12:20 PM: Return to Paraa Boat point for the afternoon boat ride to the bottom of Murchison's falls
  • 1:30 PM: Arrive at Paraa as you wait for the boat cruise to start.

Boat Cruise on the Nile

  • 02:00 PM: Start of the boat cruise along the Nile River
  • 03:00 PM: Spot wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species with commentary from Grime Safaris guide. After reaching the bottom of falls, we shall then return to Paraa
  • 05:00 PM: Return to Gulu City - Perhaps have late lunch at Packwach at 6:00 PM

Return to Gulu City

  • 06:30 PM: Departure from Murchison Falls National Park
  • 08:30 PM or 09:30 PM: Arrival back in Gulu City depending on how long we take at Late lunch in Packwach.
