At that time, I was still on my work research in Moroto. Simon, the tour guide with Grime Safaris driver, met me. He picked me up and we left for Murchison Falls. We arrived at Murchison's Falls by 11:00 AM. After entering through the Tangi Gate, we proceeded to Murchison River Lodge, where we checked in at 1:00 PM. Following our check-in at Murchison River lodge, it is one of the best and affordable accommodation facilities. Murchison river lodge offers the best restaurant services and great scenic views. It also has scenic viewpoints, a water view (Nile view), and is very affordable especially from Murchison tour starting from Gulu City.

Our game drive commenced at 3:00 PM. It continued until 7:00 PM. This provided an incredible opportunity to witness the park's majestic wildlife. During this adventure, we were thrilled to spot an astonishing herd of 80-100 elephants, series of antelopes e.g oribis, kobs and jackson's . This remarkable sight left me, overjoyed. To add to the excitement, we also encountered over 20 graceful giraffes on our way to the lodge. It was a truly unforgettable experience. It felt particularly special for me, who considered it a lucky day. It is an occurrence we rarely see on our safaris with Grime Safaris.
Murchison's Falls Private Solo Boat Cruise with Grime Safaris on a 2 days Murchison's Falls tour from Gulu
On day two after morning game drive we failed to get a boat due to no traffic for the 9:00am boat cruise as earlier on booked with UWA-Uganda Wildlife Authority. Later on, we opted to first reach top of falls then we do the boat cruise for 11;00am. We enjoyed the stunning views of world's strongest falls - Murchison's Falls. then we returned in time for the 11:00am boat cruise but still there were no people for the group boat cruise because it was low season in september. Simon my safari guide opted for a private boat for the cruise to bottom of falls, I had a special private boat cruise tour that took 2 hours upto 1:00pm.
We went back to Murchion river lodge after the thrilling boat, checked out and left for Gulu by 3:00pm, we reached Gulu City at Bomah Hotel at 9:00pm. End of tour with Grime Safaris.
