Day 1: Gulu City – Scenic Cycling Journey to Aruu Falls

Your adventure begins early in the morning as Grime Safaris' cycling team/Tour guide picks you up from your accommodation in Gulu City. After a short pre-ride briefing and equipment check, set off on your cycling tour heading NorthEast through the Kitgum-Kidepo highway and rolling towards the countryside of Northern Uganda.

The route takes you through peaceful Acholi villages, open farmlands, and natural woodlands, giving you a perfect chance to interact with locals, witness Acholi traditional homesteads, and experience rural life firsthand.

After approximately 54-60 kilometers of cycling depending on the camping site you'll stay, you will arrive at the Aruu Falls area in Pader District by mid-afternoon or by 1:00 pm.
