Arrival in Entebbe

Welcome to Entebbe! Upon your arrival, our friendly guide will meet you at Entebbe International Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and prepare for your exciting adventure ahead. Enjoy a leisurely evening, and get a good night’s rest for the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest the following day.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest & Gorilla Habituation

After an early breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the majestic Mountain Gorillas. The drive is filled with stunning landscapes, rolling hills, and picturesque villages. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, nestled at the edge of the forest.

Day 2: Full Day Gorilla Habituation Experience

Today is the highlight of your tour – a full day dedicated to the Gorilla Habituation Experience. After an early breakfast, you will head into the dense forest with a team of researchers and experienced guides. Tracking the Mountain Gorillas can take several hours, but the reward is unmatched.

You will participate in a briefing session about Gorilla Habituation. This unique experience allows you to spend extended time with the Mountain Gorillas and observe their behavior in their natural habitat. You will learn about the efforts to habituate these gentle giants, ensuring they are comfortable with human presence.

Once you locate the gorilla family, you will have up to four hours to observe them closely. Watch as they go about their daily activities – feeding, playing, and interacting with each other. The Mountain Gorillas are known for their complex social structures and each family has its own unique dynamics. You might witness the playful antics of the young gorillas or the protective nature of the dominant silverback.

This immersive experience provides deep insights into the life of these incredible creatures and their conservation.
