Arrival in Uganda
Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a representative from Grime Safaris Uganda. After a brief introduction and overview of your exciting adventure, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kampala for an overnight stay. Rest and prepare for the incredible journey ahead.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, Grime Safaris will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the majestic mountain gorillas. The journey to Bwindi Gorilla Forest Park offers scenic views of the countryside, with a stopover at the equator for photos and lunch. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check into your lodge and have the evening to relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience
Today is the highlight of your Grime Safaris adventure - the thrilling gorilla tracking experience. After a briefing by park rangers, you will embark on a trek through the dense forest in search of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the Mt Gorilla trek, return to your lodge for some well-deserved rest. Enjoy Lunch, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart Bwindi after breakfast and head towards Murchison Falls National Park with Grime Safaris. The journey is long but rewarding, with beautiful landscapes along the way. You will have a lunch stop in a local town and arrive at Murchison Falls in the late afternoon. Check into your lodge and unwind. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4: Game Drive & Boat Safari
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, where you have the chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Nile River, culminating in a breathtaking view of Murchison Falls. After the boat safari, Grime Safaris will transfer you back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a final game drive or a visit to the top of Murchison Falls. Grime Safaris will then transfer you back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your incredible 5-day gorilla tracking and Murchison adventure with Grime Safaris.
