Gulu City will host its first Oktoberfest from October 6-14, 2025, at Kaunda Grounds, combining German traditions with Acholi culture and heritage. The festival aims to boost Northern Uganda tourism, promote the local economy, celebrate Acholi traditions through music, food, and storytelling, and showcase Gulu as a vibrant cultural and economic hub.
Organized in partnership with various stakeholders and supported by the Rotary Club of Gulu City, this event is expected to attract over 30,000 visitors from Germany and locally in Uganda from other regions.

Theme: "Celebrating our Heritage: The Heartbeat of Acholi Culture".
